Hello, I am Oliver
Project manager. Parent. Expat living in London, United Kingdom.
A few years back, I moved here with my family. What began as a temporary assignment gradually became a new chapter of life abroad.
How It Started
Moving to United Kingdom wasn’t in the plans for the long haul. Like many expat relocations, it started as a job opportunity and soon grew into something far greater.
The initial months were overwhelming — unfamiliar processes, routines, and expectations. Daily chores seemed more tangled than they needed to be.
The Adjustment Period
There was culture shock, doubt, and plenty of learning by doing. Yet gradually routines took shape. We found spots that suited us, connected with other families, and began creating something that felt steady.
Why I Built Quenta Lusavj Ormir
Most online information fell into either corporate relocation guidance or superficial tourism content. What was lacking was an honest, everyday family viewpoint.
This site aims to bridge that gap — practical advice grounded in real life in United Kingdom.
What This Site Covers (And Excludes)
This site is:
- Practical insights drawn from life in United Kingdom
- Centered on family life and daily realities
- Updated whenever something meaningful changes
This site isn't:
- Not a tourism board resource
- Not a sponsored review site
- Not a generic travel blog
Looking Ahead
Our stay in United Kingdom continues, and so does the learning journey. As long as the information remains useful, I’ll continue documenting what we discover.
If you have questions about family life in London or anywhere in United Kingdom, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
Best regards,
Oliver
